Автор: Vladislav Beloshapka Дата: 2006-03-09 14:31:20 David Maister joins an important discussion on what business schools should do to deliver their promise to develop MANAGERS not just people with nice MBA's certificates. This discussion gets a growing intensity in America and Europe while in Ukraine this issue does not seem urgent yet. Part of the reason is that we have just adopted MBA as category by borrowing western standards on that. But the issue can not wait here too long. Somebody should take a lead and go well beyond traditional format. Clearly, there should be a focus on ensuring that better competence turns to better managerial performance. Without huge improvement in Return on Management (ROM) Ukrainian companies can hardly strive to be competitive...long enough.
