MDO is looking for ambitious and driven Analysts to join our first-class Mining Data & Analytics Department.
THE OPPORTUNITY
As a member of the Mining Data & Analytics Department, you will be part of a specialized team that works with some of the biggest companies in the mining sector to produce optimal outcomes for our customers. Given the highly specialized nature of the research conducted by MDO, we offer a strong on-the-job training. This includes a mentorship program and continuous training to ensure that all Analysts receive the support needed to succeed and to maintain our company’s international reputation.
Our Data Analysts receive salary of USD $3.5 to $4.5 per hour during training, $5 per hour after graduating from the entry-level training process and enjoy flexible work hours.
As a Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Performing extensive open-source internet research to find mining Technical Reports and other key documents.
- Analyzing, interpreting, and evaluating data found in mineral exploration and mining reports in order to extract quality information.
- Using the collected data to compile accurate, concise and detailed property reports.
- Managing workload efficiently and effectively — the ability to meet deadlines.
- Continuously learn and become proficient at researching.
- Meeting or exceeding production targets, commitments, and quality standards.
- Performing any related administrative tasks.

Qualification Requirements:
- Intermediate English.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office and Windows Operating System.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work both in a self-directed environment and collaboratively when necessary.
- Highly dependable.
- Confident and able to learn quickly.
- Tenacity, creativity, and persistence with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organization, prioritization, time and resource management skills.
- Analytical mindset.
- Preference given to candidates with research, geoscience or mining experience.
