Sumix is a leading company in end-face testing equipment for fiber-optic connectors. We are developing opto-electronic devices for fiber-optic connector end-face measurement and visual inspection. We are seeking for talented Metrology engineer to engage in our existing and new coming projects.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Optical schemes design (objectives, illumination schemes)
- Tolerances calculation/analysis of optical schemes and components
- Analysis/review of calculated optical schemes (prepared by other specialists)
- Drawings and documentation for production preparing (drawings of optical parts and schemes)
- Review of drawings prepared by other specialists
- Communication with optics manufacturers (questions about drawings and finished parts
- Control of received optical parts
- Cooperation with other departments during assembling and adjusting of the device (assembling department, programmers, metrologists)
- Direct involvement in solving problems during assembling and adjusting of the device

Qualification and Skills:
- Master’s degree in Physics, Optics, instrument making industry
- Practical experience — at least 3 year
- Skill to work in team
- Self motivation
- Motivation to train
