Are you an experienced truck dispatcher looking to advance your career? We are seeking a skilled Freight Dispatcher to manage and coordinate freight shipments in the U.S. market. In this role, you will work closely with drivers and brokers to ensure loads are booked efficiently and delivered on time. Responsibilities
- Find and secure freight loads for a fleet of 5+ trucks, optimizing routes and maximizing gross revenue for each truck.
- Communicate daily with drivers to provide updates, directions, and support. Ensure any issues on the road are handled promptly and professionally.
- Keep brokers informed with timely updates and send all necessary documentation (e.g. Bills of Lading and Proof of Delivery) for each load.
- Maintain and update internal records and systems to track load status, scheduling, and delivery confirmations accurately.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in truck dispatching, specifically in the U.S. freight market.
- Familiarity with Dry Van trailers and their load requirements.
- Proven ability to dispatch and manage loads for 5 or more trucks simultaneously while achieving high gross results.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with brokers and drivers (including handling challenging situations calmly).
- Solid understanding of Hours of Service (HOS) regulations to plan compliant driver schedules.
- Intermediate or higher proficiency in English (both spoken and written).
- Strong organizational skills, resilience under stress, and a goal-oriented mindset to meet targets and deadlines.
Working Hours
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM — 12:00 AM EEST (Eastern European Summer Time), which corresponds to 6:00 AM — 4:00 PM CST (Central Standard Time). This schedule aligns with U.S. business hours to effectively communicate with brokers and drivers.
Compensation
- Salary: Commission-based pay at 1.75−2% of the gross revenue from loads, which is roughly $3,000-$5,000 per month (depending on the volume and value of loads dispatched).
