We are seeking an experienced Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Specialist to optimize medical device performance and improve patient rehabilitation outcomes. Our mission is to help patients recover faster by determining the safest and most effective weight-bearing limits using advanced FEA techniques.
Responsibilities:
FEA Simulations:
- Use ANSYS Mechanical to analyze stress, strain, and load distribution in medical devices and fracture zones.
- Perform simulations to calculate optimal weight-bearing limits tailored to individual patients.

Patient Impact:
- Contribute to improving rehabilitation outcomes by ensuring personalized treatment plans based on FEA results.
- Provide insights to guide safe and efficient recovery for patients using medical implants.
- Collaboration & Improvement:
- Work closely with the team to enhance methodologies and workflows.
- Incorporate insights from technical and medical literature into practice.

Requirements:
Strong Mechanics Knowledge:
Deep understanding of stress/strain tensors, octahedral vs hydrostatic strain, and true vs engineering stress.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in ANSYS Mechanical for FEA.
- Familiarity with Simpleware ScanIP for mesh creation (or willingness to learn).
- Communication & Collaboration:
- Ability to work with English-language technical literature.
- Experience with Google Docs (advantage).

Medical Experience (Preferred):
Background in medical devices or biomechanics.
