The Dispatch Planner plays a key role in operational efficiency by proactively planning and scheduling all pick-ups and drop-offs in advance. Unlike a regular dispatcher focused on day-to-day load assignment, the planner oversees the full freight flow — forecasting, route optimization, and early load booking.
Responsibilities
- Strategically plan and schedule all upcoming pick-ups and deliveries for the fleet.
- Book loads in advance, ensuring proper spacing and coverage across drivers.
- Optimize route planning to minimize deadhead and maximize revenue per mile.
- Coordinate with brokers and shippers to secure future loads.
- Maintain constant communication with dispatchers to align real-time operations with planned schedules.
- Monitor load boards and internal systems to forecast availability and lane opportunities.
- Anticipate delays, weather issues, or conflicts and adjust plans proactively.
- Ensure all pick-up and delivery appointments are scheduled correctly.
- Support compliance with Hours of Service (HOS) and company safety policies.

Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in truck dispatching, planning, or logistics.
- Strong understanding of U.S. freight markets and logistics trends.
- Proficiency in TMS, load boards (e.g., DAT, Truckstop), and planning tools.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and think ahead under pressure.

Working Hours
Monday to Friday 2:00 PM — 12:00 AM EEST (6:00 AM — 4:00 PM CST) Aligned with U.S. business hours for maximum operational efficiency
Compensation
Commission-based: 1.75−2% of weekly gross (negotiable), depending on performance Average monthly pay: $5,000-$6,000 depending on load volume and gross
