As a Dispatch Manager, you will be at the center of coordination between drivers, brokers, and clients—ensuring every load is delivered efficiently, safely, and on time. As a Remote Dispatch Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating daily trucking operations, booking loads, planning driver routes, and maintaining constant communication with both drivers and clients.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and organize weekly operational targets and quotas for dispatch team members.
- Coordinate daily market briefings and team syncs.
- Provide product and function clarifications to junior dispatchers.
- Maintain positive team culture and motivation through leadership and consistent communication.
- Monitor and report weekly performance metrics of dispatchers and division.
- Participate in senior executive meetings and provide weekly performance reports with actionable insights.
- Propose strategic initiatives for improved operational performance.
- Oversee communication with brokers and ensure continuous engagement through campaigns, updates, and e-cards.
- Collect and act on broker feedback to enhance relationships and drive repeat business.
- Handle and resolve disputes with brokers, ensuring positive outcomes and long-term collaboration.
- Maintain and update broker database for accurate and effective communication.
- Research and implement best practices in dispatch protocols.
- Manage and continuously improve onboarding and training programs for dispatchers.
- Analyze and optimize dispatch workflows to maximize dispatcher productivity and load efficiency.
- Ensure drivers and dispatchers have a smooth working relationship with minimal disputes.
- Manage freight booking processes with a focus on income generation.
- Conduct one-on-one meetings to coach and improve dispatcher performance.
- Design and administer practical and theoretical training modules.
- Assess and resolve time-wasting activities within the dispatch team.
- Delegate responsibilities effectively while fostering autonomy and accountability.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a freight dispatcher and managing a dispatch department in a trucking company.
- Strong conflict resolution and people development skills.
- Data-driven decision-maker with strong analytical and planning abilities.
- Emotionally stable, positive, and proactive leader.
- Committed to the CEO’s vision and able to align team goals with company objectives.
- Ability to lead by example, inspire trust, and maintain professional integrity.
- Competent in using management tools (CRMs, weekly plans, KPIs, etc.).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Technologically adept and open to learning new platforms and tools.
