LightSoft is seeking a talented Full-Stack Python + PHP Developer for a full-time remote position. High-load video hosting projects.
Responsibilities:
As a pivotal team member, you will:
- Develop and maintain backend services primarily in Python (Django/Django REST) and PHP.
- Develop and maintain unit and integration tests.
- Bug fixing
- Manage and improve legacy projects developed in PHP.
- Migrate functionality from legacy systems to modern RESTful services.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of robust, scalable solutions at the architectural level.

Required Skills:
We are seeking candidates with:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Python web development.
- Strong proficiency in Django/Django REST framework.
- Solid experience with PHP and understanding of best practices in PHP development.
- Good understanding of RESTful API design.
- Expertise with Redis, Celery, and SQL databases (preferably PostgreSQL).
- Proficiency in Docker.
- Experience working in Agile environments (preferably Kanban).
- Solid grasp of OOP, design patterns, and general software development principles.

Nice to Have:
It would be a plus if you also have:
- Experience with high-load, distributed systems.
- Strong front-end skills (HTML/CSS/JavaScript).
- Experience with Sphinx documentation or search engines.
