We are a small owner-owned accounting and tax consultancy. Looking for a talented and highly motivated individual to join our firm as a Financial/data analyst. This is a part-time remote position and would suit a person looking for flexible working arrangements. Students are welcome to apply!
IMPORTANT! Please, make sure you conform to each of the following requirements, before you proceed any further:
- You are a Ukrainian citizen, holding valid Ukrainian passport and currently physically reside in Ukraine.
- You have no criminal background and would be able to provide evidence to support this.
- Your level of English language proficiency is at least «advanced».

Requirements: An ideal candidate and their personal traits. You:
- are highly motivated and eager to learn new things;
- possess strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills;
- are able to work autonomously and deliver result by the deadline;
- are able to multitask and work simultaneously on different assignments;
- are gonna be online/reachable thruout the day, including weekends.

Ideally, we are looking for candidates with some form of accounting/banking/finance/taxation background or students pursuing a degree in any of those fields. HOWEVER, since your previous experience is likely to be only partially relevant for the role, in lieu of such experience, we might consider candidates with outstanding analytical ability and interpersonal skills.
The day-to-day communication will be in russian, however, almost all work-related material, like worksheets, documents, forms, instructions and so on are ONLY in English. So without functional English language ability (reading/writing), you won’t be able to work productively.
Equipment and computer skills. Fully equipped for remote work: modern PC/laptop, with all the typical office software packages installed (Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat); modern cellphone; reliable internet connection; printer/scanner. Highly experienced with MS Excel (a must).
Work conditions:
This is a remote, part-time role with varying workload. This matter is negotiable, more details will be provided at the time of the interview. The actual amount of financial compensation would highly depend upon the workload and candidate’s productivity.
Responsibilities:
Various ad hoc tasks in areas of accounting, finance, taxation and law. Things like document processing, creating/filling out Excel worksheets and pivot tables, proofreading, data analysis.
