Role Description
We are looking for Junior WordPress / PHP Developers to join our team in a fully remote, full-time position. This opportunity is ideal for individuals eager to grow their skills and gain practical, hands-on experience in PHP development within the WordPress ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on WordPress-based projects and contribute to their development and maintenance.
- Learn and apply best practices for PHP coding, debugging, and version control.
- Work alongside experienced developers to build and customize themes, plugins, and backend solutions.
- Participate in team discussions, code reviews, and collaborative problem-solving.
- Gain practical experience working with WordPress core functions, hooks, and APIs.

Qualifications
Required:
- A strong passion for web development and open-source technologies.
- Experience with coding outside of a classroom environment (e.g., personal projects, freelance work, open-source contributions).
- Proficiency in PHP and familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Basic understanding of Git for version control and Linux-based environments.
- Willingness to learn and grow within a collaborative, fast-paced team.

Preferred:
- Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.
- Understanding of WordPress architecture, template hierarchy, and REST API.
- Familiarity with SQL and database interaction in a WordPress context.
- Interest in performance optimization, security best practices, or custom plugin development.
