Senior Market Risk and Product Control Manager
D.TRADING is the international arm of DTEK, Ukraine’s largest independent energy producer and trader. Responsibilities:
- Lead risk team and responsible for daily P&L reporting and risk control system:
- Collect and validate data for ad-hoc and regular reporting
- Optimize and automate data processing
- Calculate and provide data analysis of standardized risk metrics (market risk exposure, mark to market, value-at-risk)
- Generate reports and presentations on daily basis
- Develop new reports and improve risk monitoring process
- Create and support online dashboards
- Providing oversight of trading activities, monitoring positions, identifying the market risk for the new trading strategies, and energy commodities
- Solve business cases raised by the executive management, preparation of ad hoc requests and analytics
- Ensuring adherence to the risk policies and procedures, and continuous improvement
- Participation in implementation of new IT platforms, collaboration with trading & IT departments (setting business requirements, testing, product owner control)

Requirements:
- Master’s degree in finance, mathematics, economics, IT
- Team leadership experience is required
- Experience in trading, energy industry is preferable
- Experience in banking, finance, analysis and reporting fields would be an advantage
- Previous experience as a Risk Manager working directly with the Front Line and performing risk analysis is desirable
- High attention to details, «sharp eye» on mistakes and mismatches in data, ability to deliver high quality of managerial reporting during daily routine process
- Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency
- SQL query
- Power Query and BI Dashboards
- Python (pandas, numpy, scipy) for data analysis would be an advantage
- Upper intermediate or higher English communication skills required (both written and verbal)
- Good communicating skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Highly motivated with the drive and potential to learn from others
