Lemberg Group Inc., a trusted transportation company based in Chicago, is seeking an experienced HR Manager to become a part of our team. We value precision, efficiency, and dedication, and we’re looking for a professional who can expertly manage our Team.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic, highly skilled professional to lead and manage our Human Resources function. The ideal candidate will possess proven hands-on progressive experience, execution, and positive accomplishments in human resources. Moreover, the optimal candidate will possess a proficiency in all aspects of HR management including culture cultivation, talent acquisition/retention, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits administration, training and professional development, and compliance. The ideal candidate will become a key senior management team member and a trusted thought partner and adviser to our CEO.
Culture Cultivation-Develop and implement strategies to ensure ongoing effective employee engagement, a positive, harmonious, inclusive, work environment where employees thrive, contribute, and achieve their full potential. Ensure HBH becomes recognized as an employer of choice.
Talent Acquisition/Retention — Develop, lead, and facilitate new employee onboarding. Develop and implement a human capital management strategy that maximizes Lemberg team member retention.
Performance Management — Assess and implement an ongoing system of performance appraisal that provides routine, consistent feedback to ensure team members can achieve our operational and strategic goals. Collaborate with the management team in creating measurable goals, milestones, periodic evaluation reviews, and in developing performance improvement plans as applicable.
Training and Development — Identify the global training needs for Lemberg Group. Collaborate with the management team in identifying training, professional and career development needs that will ensure our employees enhance their knowledge and skills. Track, monitor, and report global and individual progress and outcomes.
Employee Relations — Serve as the principal point of contact when employees request HR guidance, coaching, counsel on concerns, and conflicts. Lead investigations, recommend disciplinary actions, and manage offboarding including terminations and separations.
Compensation and Benefits — Administer all employee time and attendance. Manage all employee compensation and benefits.
- Develop and implement a professional development management system.
- Plan and coordinate professional development workshops, seminars, and training sessions. Manage training registration, pre and post activities and certificates of completion.
- Maintain accurate, comprehensive records of staff training and credentials.
- Provide periodic reporting and presentations to the CEO.

Qualifications and Skills:
- A minimum of 3 years of proven progressive expertise in human resources and leading and managing teams. Transportation company experience is a plus.
- Exceptional ability in building and managing positive employee relations. Collective bargaining experience is a plus.
- Unimpeachable integrity and discretion in handling confidential matters.
- Skilled in executing multiple projects and competing priorities in meeting stated deadlines.

Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive pay based on experience, paid weekly.

Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position (approximately40 hours per week).
Monday to Friday: Flexible start time between 13:00 and 16:00, with work hours ending between 21:00 and 00:00 (Kyiv Time Zone).
