Analyst — African Region (Military Security / Finance / Geopolitics / International Relations)
Work Format: Remote (Full-time or Part-time)
Type of Collaboration: Long-term contract (after successful completion of a paid test assignment)
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly qualified analyst with deep expertise in one or more areas related to the African region. The main task is to produce in-depth, original analytical materials and forecasts regarding developments in North, Central, and West African countries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regular preparation of analytical reports and forecasts within your area of specialization (military conflicts, finance, economy, politics, geopolitics, risks and opportunities);
- In-depth analysis of the political, economic, and social situation in the region;
- Creation of original content based on independent analysis, not mere summaries of open sources;
- Working with confidential information (NDA required).

Candidate Requirements:

Deep expertise in one or more of the following fields:
- Military security and strategy;
- Economics, finance, business;
- International relations, geopolitics;
- Domestic and foreign policy of African countries;
- Experience working with large volumes of information, ability to draw strategic conclusions and build forecasts;
- Proven experience in creating high-quality analytical products;
- Ability to adhere to confidentiality principles when working with sensitive information.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in diplomatic missions, international organizations, financial institutions, business structures, or analytical centers;
- Experience living and/or working professionally in North, Central, or West Africa (minimum of 5 years).
