Job Title: Video Editor — Marketing & Social Media Content

Media Components is a results-driven digital marketing agency that specializes in web development, online branding, and creative media production. We’re looking for a detail-oriented and creative Video Editor to support our content production team by editing video content for social media, websites, and client campaigns.
Position Summary:
As a Video Editor, you’ll collaborate closely with our social media and creative departments to turn raw footage into polished video content. You’ll be responsible for editing short-form and long-form videos, applying brand styles, and ensuring fast turnarounds for marketing deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and assemble video footage into compelling marketing pieces for social media (Reels, Shorts, TikToks), websites, and ad campaigns.
- Add motion graphics, subtitles, transitions, and effects to enhance storytelling and engagement.
- Collaborate with the Social Media Director and content team to understand project goals and deliver edits that align with brand standards.
- Maintain an organized library of raw footage, project files, and assets.
- Revise videos based on feedback in a timely manner.

Requirements:
- Proven experience editing short-form and marketing-focused videos.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve. After Effects or motion graphics skills are a plus.
- Good written English skills — all communication is written (Slack, task management, etc.).
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines without micromanagement.
- Experience working with branded content and understanding visual storytelling principles.

Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with social media video trends and platform-specific requirements.
- Basic audio editing and color correction skills.
- Understanding of video aspect ratios, formats, and export settings for various platforms.
