About the role: The Account Manager in the Business Development Department will be responsible for managing customer relationships and ensuring exceptional service delivery. Working closely with the Account Executive, the Account Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, handling day-to-day communication, resolving issues, and supporting the growth of business relationships.
Schedule: 3 pm — 1 am Kyiv time, Mon-Fri.

- Starting NET salary from $1200.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Customer Relationship Management:
? Serve as the main contact for the Account Executive’s portfolio of clients, building and maintaining strong relationships to foster trust and loyalty.
? Address customer inquiries, provide updates, and ensure timely communication regarding shipments, rates, and service-related issues.
Account Support:
? Collaborate with the Account Executive to onboard new clients, analyze customer needs, and identify opportunities for growth.
? Monitor client accounts to ensure services meet expectations and align with contractual agreements.
? Support the Account Executive in implementing tailored strategies for each customer to increase retention and business volume.
Issue Resolution:
? Resolve customer concerns promptly and effectively, coordinating with internal teams to ensure operational excellence.
? Escalate and follow up on critical issues to ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
Collaboration & Reporting:
? Partner with internal teams, including operations and marketing, to execute customer-focused initiatives.
? Assist in preparing reports on account performance, customer feedback, and growth opportunities for management review.
Operational Oversight:
? Track and oversee freight operations for assigned accounts, ensuring shipments are delivered on time and in compliance with client expectations.
? Monitor accounts to identify inefficiencies and propose solutions to improve processes and enhance customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
? Education: A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in logistics or customer service may be considered.
? Experience: 2−4 years of experience in account management logistics, or transportation-related customer service.
? Experience working closely with sales teams or Account Executives is a plus.
Skills:
? Customer Service Excellence: Proven ability to manage customer relationships and resolve concerns effectively.
? Organization & Time Management: Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
? Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams.
? Collaboration: A team player with the ability to work cross-functionally to achieve shared goals.
? Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot issues and provide innovative solutions.
? Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM tools and logistics management software. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
? Prolonged periods of sitting at the desk and working on the computer
