Job Summary: We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to support our growing business. This remote position offers consistent hours and the opportunity to contribute to a collaborative and dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing day-to-day financial operations and ensuring compliance with both U.S. and Ukrainian financial regulations. There is potential for this role to evolve into a full-time position based on performance and business needs.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Accurately record and categorize daily financial transactions
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements on a regular basis
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow tracking
- Administer Ukrainian PE (Private Entrepreneur) operations, including:
- Filing tax returns
- Registration and liquidation processes
- Managing tax payments and compliance
- Maintain effective communication with internal teams and external accountants
30/60/90 day success measure:
- In the first 30 days, our Bookkeeper will become proficient in our company’s accounting software and procedures, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.
- By day 60, they will have assisted in the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- By day 90, they will have contributed to process improvements, potentially automating repetitive tasks or implementing best practices to optimise efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.
Qualifications:
- Upper Intermediate level of English (both written and verbal)
- 2−5 years of relevant experience, preferably within a business services environment
- Knowledge of Accounting software programs
- Attention to detail and accuracy of work
- Strong analytical skills
