Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Experienced Purchaserwith at least 2 years of proven success in sourcing, purchasing, and managing product flow from order to warehouse delivery. This individual will be responsible for working with both US domestic and international vendors and suppliers to ensure the timely and accurate procurement of goods.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic remote environment and possess exceptional communication skills, allowing them to coordinate across time zones and departments efficiently.
Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Product Flow Management

Source and purchase products based on forecast reports driven by sales data and inventory projections.

Maintain accurate and timely purchase orders to ensure stock levels meet operational demand.

Monitor delivery timelines, track incoming shipments, and ensure on-time warehouse receipt.

Vendor & Supplier Communication

Liaise regularly with vendors and suppliers to confirm product details, documentation, and shipping terms.

Utilize approved vendor lists and maintain accurate vendor records.

Address and resolve discrepancies, delays, or quality concerns proactively.

Documentation & Forecasting

Review and analyze forecast reports to determine reorder timing.

Ensure documentation accuracy for all procurement transactions including invoices, packing lists, and certifications.

Maintain compliance with internal purchasing protocols and update records as necessary.

Sourcing & Vendor Development

Assist in identifying and onboarding new vendors and suppliers, both within the US and internationally.

Source and request samples for evaluation of new products or alternate supply options.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with inventory, sales, and warehouse teams to align purchasing activities with business goals.

Communicate clearly and promptly with internal stakeholders to address procurement priorities and inventory updates.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of purchasing or supply chain experience, ideally in a product-based or retail environment.

Proven experience managing vendor communications and international sourcing.

Strong knowledge of procurement processes, inventory systems, and forecasting principles.

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

Advanced proficiency in English (both written and spoken).

Ability to work independently in a remote setting with a self-starter mindset.

Technologically proficient; comfortable with spreadsheets, ERP systems, and communication tools like email and Teams.

Must have reliable computer equipment and internet access.

Preferred Experience

Experience working with overseas suppliers, particularly in Asia or Latin America.

Familiarity with inventory management software or supply chain management platforms.

Background in CPG, wholesale, or manufacturing environments.
