Responsibilities:
Creating and designing original sound effects, ambiences, and textures using: personal recordings (field/foley) sound libraries or synthesis from scratch (e.g., Phase Plant, Vital)
Editing, mixing, and mastering audio assets for implementation (optimized, clean, normalized, and properly named)
Searching for and preparing music tracks (Epidemic Sound) for integration, including: editing, creating loop versions as needed
Adapting sounds for use in basic audio systems in game engines (Unity/Unreal audio components)
Willingness to learn FMOD Studio for future projects
Mandatory skills:
Knowledge of at least one professional DAW (Studio One, Reaper, Ableton Live, etc.)
Understanding of audio formats (difference between WAV, MP3, etc.)
Knowledge of sound processing principles (how plugins work: EQ, Compressor/Limiter, Distortion, Reverb, etc.)
Familiarity with Izotope RX or equivalent software (for sound cleaning)
Imagination (ability to visualize what’s needed and recreate it through audio layers)
Developed hearing and strong attention to detail
Ability to logically structure information
Nice to have:
Experience recording sound with a recorder (smartphone, portable mic, or studio)
Experience working with Trello, Notion, or other project management tools
English language skills (at least A2-B1 level)
Experience working with AI tools (e.g., Replica Studio, Eleven Labs)
Would be a plus:
Basic knowledge of Git
Musical background (played an instrument or composed electronic music)
Experience in sound synthesis (Phase Plant, Serum, Vital)
Basic knowledge/familiarity with Unity or Unreal game engines
Basic knowledge/familiarity with FMOD Studio middleware
