Your Responsibilities
This role sits at the intersection of software, data engineering, and marketing strategy. You’ll be responsible for building robust pipelines and dashboards, structuring data clearly in Google BigQuery, and enabling confident, data-informed decisions across our marketing and growth efforts. You’ll report directly to the CTO with a dotted line to the Marketing Manager and work hand-in-hand with the Data Operations, Software, and Marketing teams to accomplish your goals, which are to:
- Manage and improve our Marketing Spend Attribution model with SQL-based reporting and clear reconciliation logic
- Build and maintain reporting pipelines using SQL, Google Dataform, and Git on top of Google BigQuery, our primary data lake
- Create and iterate on dashboards in Looker Studio for customer acquisition, retention, and conversion funnels
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and track checkout flow and conversion metrics
- Track performance and cohort data across platforms like Google Analytics, Klaviyo, and our in-house Postgres-based Suvie Cloud
- Pull custom audience segments for targeted email and SMS campaigns based on flexible customer attributes
- Reconcile marketing data weekly and monthly — including spend, content costs, performance, and attribution across multiple platforms
- Maintain and improve the structure, cleanliness, and logic of our BigQuery dataset — this includes naming conventions, table structures, and historical consistency
- Take on additional projects, tasks, and opportunities as they arise
