About ROLE:
Clean, trustworthy data is the fuel for our assistant—but we also need someone who can push models to use that data. If you’re a Data Engineer who secretly enjoys model tinkering, read on. Your expertise will be crucial in creating a robust, efficient, and intelligent data platform.
Responsibilities:
- Design & maintain high-throughput ingests from APIs, documents, and messaging events; stream to analytical storage;
- Build feature stores & embeddings pipelines consumed directly by LLM retrieval;
- Contribute to fine-tuning tasks and offline evals (PyTorch + Hugging Face);
- Optimise SQL/Python workloads for cost and latency; own data quality SLAs;
- Collaborate on infra-as-code (Terraform/K8s) and monitoring.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field;
- 3+ years crafting data platforms, incl. at least one project feeding an ML or LLM system;
- Pro in Python & SQL; solid with Spark or Flink; comfortable writing CI tests around data;
- Familiarity with vector databases (Weaviate, Pinecone, PGVector, Neo4j (vector)) and basic ML concepts (loss curves, overfitting);
- Able to wear a second hat—debugging model accuracy or adjusting a FastAPI endpoint when needed.

Preferred Skills:
- Prior ownership of privacy-sensitive pipelines (PII masking, GDPR deletes);
- Exposure to LangChain/LlamaIndex or similar frameworks.
