Job requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field
- Fluency in Ukrainian language, knowledge of English will be an advantage
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience in the humanitarian sector
- Experience in general case management, child protection case management, GBV case management
- Excellent interpersonal skills and commitment to teamwork
- Report writing skills
- Computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet)
- Ability to work independently and proactively, manage a complex and varied workload, and work to deadlines
- Proactivity, initiative, responsibility and organizational skills
- Diplomacy, flexibility, honesty, ability to offer suggestions/solutions
- Strong motivation for humanitarian work

Duties and responsibilities:
Case Management / Individual Protection Assistance (CM/IPA)
- Identification of protection cases (individuals)
- Assessment of protection needs and risks for the PoC
- Recommendation on classification of case as CM or IPA, following assessment.
- In direct collaboration with the PoC, development of a protection plan designed to directly respond to the identified protection needs/risks
- Referral to State and non-governmental service providers as appropriate and available
- Follow-up on all referrals made to ensure provision of quality specialized services is put in place
- Case closure in close collaboration with CM Supervisor
- Attend weekly case review meetings to identify challenges specific to individual cases or larger trends in CM response.
- Ensure case management meetings are held at a frequency appropriate to the risks/needs of the case.
- Ensure quality data management, including sufficient qualitative data.
- Ensure the participation of beneficiaries in decision-making at all stages of the case management cycle, as safe and appropriate.
- Ensure that CM/IPA interventions are informed by and integrated with other core sectors, including and ensuring that issues for good practice in protection implementation are raised and addressed.
- Ensure ethical sensitivity and principles of Do No Harm are maintained in the implementation of CM/IPA program (s).
- Ensure respect for good practices in data protection and confidentiality, including the ‘Need to Know' principle.
- Ensure proper filing of documents, including paper files of individual cases, and that all electronic and paper files are followed up, kept updated, and secured in line with good practice in data protection.
- Ensure TGH’s guidelines and international protection standards are considered and any departures documented.
Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL)
- Contribute to lessons learned for the project in collaboration and as requested by line manager
- Prepare case studies to inform future programming and strategic directions as requested by line manager.
- Prepare or contribute to the preparation of timely reports on CM/IPA project activities as requested
- Support MEAL team as requested by line manager to ensure robust data collection and protection.
Capacity Development
- As requested by line manager, contribute to the capacity development of new staff and/or implementing partners.
Responsibility 4: Coordination
- Attend internal and external meetings as requested
- As requested, represent TGH at meetings with relevant government departments, NGOs and community based organizations
- As requested, take minutes of meetings
