Junior SEO Specialist (Remote, Part-Time to Full-Time)

Through a combination of technical audits, content strategies, and on-page optimization, we help clients achieve measurable organic growth. As our team grows, we’re looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior SEO Assistant to support ongoing projects and develop core SEO skills in a real-world environment.
The Role
As a Junior SEO Assistant, you’ll work closely with our SEO Project Coordinator and broader SEO team to implement and monitor both on-page and off-page SEO initiatives. This role is perfect for someone early in their digital marketing career who’s ready to learn by doing — and excited to build a long-term career in SEO.
Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research and organize keywords by intent or topic clusters
- Optimize meta tags, page titles, internal links, and heading structures
- Assist with technical SEO audits (crawling, indexing, site health)
- Monitor keyword rankings and contribute to monthly performance reports
- Analyze competitors and current SERPs for content opportunities
- Support content updates and briefs using SEO best practices
- Upload and optimize content in CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress)
- Use tools such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and Surfer SEO
- Track key metrics via Google Analytics and GSC and report notable changes

Requirements
- Basic understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO
- Experience with keyword research tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar)
- Ability to write clear, structured SEO content (titles, meta descriptions, etc.), with help from AI tools or editors
- Familiarity with Google Search Console and Google Analytics
- Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
- Ability to follow clear instructions and learn quickly
- Strong written English

Nice to Have
- Familiarity with WordPress, Notion, or basic HTML
- Any previous hands-on SEO experience (freelance, internship, or personal project)
