Vacancy from our client — an international FMCG company
The position of the Finance Controlling Manager reports to the Finance Manager Ukraine.
The position is intended to ensure the development of plans and forecasts for the activities of the Central and Eastern Europe Cluster, namely in the market of Ukraine and in the markets of the Cluster — Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova providing the Local and Cluster management with analytical data on the fulfillment of goals, reasons deviations, suggestions for improving financial results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take charge of group reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business financial modeling for a diverse portfolio of markets, including Ukraine, Moldova, Armenia, and Georgia.
- Spearhead financial evaluations for new product launches, fostering product profitability and growth initiatives.
- Prepare comprehensive management reports, providing crucial insights into P&L, B/S, WC, and stock performance. Foster transparent bookkeeping and compliant reporting through close collaboration with the accounting department.
- Drive the optimization of reporting and consolidation systems, streamlining processes for enhanced efficiency.
- Initiate data-driven proposals to optimize decision-making processes and enhance overall business strategies.
- Collaborate closely with various departments to offer sound financial analysis, supporting the development of effective operational strategies.
- Guide senior management throughout the budget cycle, ensuring efficient project implementation and offering insightful budgetary recommendations.
- Maintain effective communication with local and regional functions, contributing to a cohesive and collaborative work environment.
- Undertake ad-hoc tasks, including business case evaluations, sensitivity analyses, and comprehensive reports for management assessment.

Key Requirements
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, with a strong emphasis on Excel.
- Exhibit fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Display a highly analytical mindset, coupled with commercial acumen and a results-driven approach.
- Effectively communicate complex data, identifying risks and opportunities while simplifying intricate financial concepts for diverse stakeholders.
- Embrace a collaborative work ethic, fostering strong cross-functional relationships with various departments.
- Showcase a proactive, self-starting attitude, capable of operating autonomously and addressing challenges head-on.

Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Showcase at least 3 years of experience in finance controlling, preferably within FMCG companies.
- Possess a formal qualification in Finance or demonstrate equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully plan and manage multiple tasks and projects
- Solution oriented
- Sound relationship-building skills — ability to work collaboratively effectively in a diverse team environment and with different levels of seniority
- Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
- Demonstrate fast, flexible, responsive, and versatile abilities
