Job Summary We are Landstar representative in Lviv. A trucking company which is working around US since 2007.We are looking for a meticulous and Excel-savvyData Operations Specialist to support our growing supply chain and transportation operations. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate, timely, and well-formatted data that powers shipping decisions, inventory planning, carrier performance tracking, and more. This position requires a sharp eye for detail, proficiency in Excel, and a passion for turning data into actionable logistics insights.
Key Responsibilities

Data Entry & Formatting

Accurately input and format data related to shipments, freight costs, delivery timelines, and inventory using cell styles, custom number formats, and validation rules.

Formulas & Functions

Use advanced Excel functions (IF, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, CONCAT, TEXT, DATE) to streamline data tracking across supply chain and freight records.

Data Analysis

Build and maintain PivotTables and charts to summarize carrier performance, transit times, warehouse metrics, and order fulfillment KPIs.

Visualization

Create dashboards and visual summaries using combo charts, sparklines, and conditional formatting to highlight trends and anomalies in logistics performance.

Automation

Record and implement macros to automate repetitive tasks such as daily shipment logs, freight invoice comparisons, and order reconciliation.

Data Integration

Consolidate data from multiple Excel workbooks, warehouse logs, and CSV files received from vendors, carriers, and third-party logistics (3PL) partners.

Problem Solving

Use Excel’s Goal Seek and What-If Analysis tools to model inventory targets, simulate cost changes, or evaluate route efficiency.

Collaboration

Work with cross-functional teams using shared workbooks and OneDrive to ensure seamless communication between logistics, inventory, and customer service teams.

Error Handling

Apply IFERROR functions and validation techniques to identify and prevent common data issues that may impact orders or delivery SLAs.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in data operations

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Intermediate to Advanced)

Familiarity with freight data, inventory systems, or order management workflows

Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

Knowledge of OneDrive, SharePoint, or similar collaboration tools

Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

Microsoft Excel certification or equivalent training

Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau is a plus
