We are a U.S.-based esports-tech company behind Hawk Live — a leading platform for Dota 2 live score, with over 4 million monthly visits from gamers worldwide.
We recently launched a new YouTube channel Hawk Live Gaming — focused on high-quality content for gamers. Several of our first videos have already surpassed 200,000+ views, and we’re now building a dedicated production team to scale even faster.
Responsibilities
- Research, outline, and write 6 scripts per month (10−20?min each) for builds, progression, stats and advanced mechanics in Elden?Ring, Souls?like titles, etc. Topics and video direction are defined collaboratively with the channel manager, but strong candidates are encouraged to pitch ideas based on player needs and meta shifts.
- Capture your own 1080p (or better) gameplay footage: progression, boss fights, weapon tests, damage benchmarks, etc.
- Present clear shot lists and time codes for the video editor.
- Use basic algebra and spreadsheets to calculate DPS, stat breakpoints, soft caps, etc.
- Keep scripts fresh with current memes and U.S. pop?culture references.
- Iterate quickly on feedback and collaborate with the video editor and channel manager.
- Deliver the first draft within 2 days of receiving the brief. We will then provide clear revision notes, and the final script (with edits applied) along with the footage must be submitted on Day 3.

Requirements
- Portfolio: at least two published gaming scripts or videos where you were the primary writer / footage provider (Souls?like preferred).
- Familiarity with YouTube’s platform and trends.
- Passion for PC or console gaming — you should actively play games and know the gaming culture
- Native?level written English (no AI?translated text—grammar and punctuation must read naturally to a U.S. audience).
- You have finished Elden?Ring at least once, including the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC (NG+ a plus) and deeply understand damage types, scaling, status effects, poise, and meta builds.
- Fluent in modern American memes & cultural references—you know how to weave humor without forced «cringe.»
- Proven ability to brief video editors (visual references, pacing notes, etc) so the final cut matches your vision.
- Capable PC and recording setup to produce smooth, artifact?free gameplay clips.
- Comfort with basic algebra / spreadsheets for DPS calculations, stat breakpoints, and progression math.
- Strong grasp of script structure: hook → promise → value delivery → payoff → CTA.
- Ability to work independently, accept feedback, and iterate quickly.
