ZOA is an international relief and recovery organization with 50-year history of providing emergency relief to people who are affected by conflicts and natural disasters. ZOA provides relief to people affected by violent conflicts and natural disasters in fragile contexts. ZOA also assist them during their recovery from the crisis. ZOA is based in the Netherlands and in 2024, is working in 14 countries.
In March 2022, ZOA started an emergency program in Ukraine for Internally Displaced Persons, in Zakarpattia Oblast, providing cash based assistance. Since then ZOA has expanded to Chernihiv, Kryvyi Rih and Mykolaiv providing Shelter, Livelihoods, MPCA, GCT and winterization support.

Objective of the position
The Winterization Project Coordinator is responsible for realizing the winterization programming in Mykolaiv and Kherson Oblast, in accordance with relevant strategies and standards.
Main activities
Tasks, responsibilities, and expected results
Under the responsibility and guidance of the ZOA Project Manager, the Coordinator is expected to:
- Oversee the monitoring visits of beneficiaries in both Kryvyi Rih and Mykolaiv offices.
- Support the Project Manager with analysing monitoring and evaluation data
- Plan and work with the authorities, military administration and volunteer committees at the local level to facilitate the implementation of the program
- Responsible for all communication with clusters and other NGOs working on similar activities.
- Responsible for all planning, registrations, verifications, preparations for payments, contracts signing and monitoring
- Oversee the monitoring visits of beneficiaries and houses
- Support the Project Manager with analysing monitoring and evaluation data
- Ensure compliance with ZOA Internal Finance and Administrative Rules and Regulations
- Draft project reports and narratives
- Prepare and develop follow up plans, needs assessments in Kherson and Mykolaiv Oblast
- Contribute to mainstreaming of Security into the ZOA program in Ukraine

Competencies
Knowledge & Experience:
- Bachelor or Master degree in a humanitarian, development or relevant field
- Three to five years of field experience in a similar function or applicable experience in supervision and team management
- Familiarity with Project Cycle Management
- Working proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Good spoken and written command of English and Ukrainian

Special conditions
- The Duty Station for this position is Mykolaiv or Kryvyi Rih offices with regular visits to Kherson and Mykolaiv Oblasts
- The remuneration is competitive and in compliance with the ZOA Ukraine salary scale
