We are currently looking for an experienced Backend Engineer (Middle or Senior) who is passionate about building robust backend systems and thrives in an environment where innovation and problem-solving are highly encouraged.
Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs.

Work with Node.js and Ruby on Rails in production-grade systems.

Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and product managers to deliver high-quality solutions.

Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.

Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements

5+ years of professional backend development experience.

Strong knowledge of Node.js and Ruby on Rails.

Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture.

Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORMs.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Good knowledge of testing frameworks (RSpec, Jest, etc.).

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Intermediate or higher level of English (for communication with international team).

Nice to Have

Shopify API, Shopify Apps development.

Experience working with AI models.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

Knowledge of caching strategies (Redis, Memcached).

Contributions to open-source projects.
