Dokport is building a highly secure Electronic Health Record (EHR) web platform. We’re looking for a Backend Web Developer to help design and develop our core backend systems.
Tech Stack
- Node.js (JavaScript/TypeScript)
- PostgreSQL
- WebSocket (real-time messaging)
- Docker (containerized services)
- Google Cloud Platform (hosting & deployment)
- REST APIs (integrations)

What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and maintain backend features for secure, real-time messaging
- Work with PostgreSQL: schema design, queries, migrations, and robust data handling
- Use WebSockets to power live communication features
- Package and run services in Docker and deploy to GCP
- Contribute to security-focused architecture and design decisions
- Build healthcare system integrations with strong knowledge of interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, CDA)

Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js (TS/JS)
- Solid understanding of PostgreSQL
- Production experience with WebSockets
- Proficient with Docker
- Comfortable deploying and operating apps on GCP
- Strong awareness of security principles for EHR/health data
- You’re humble, hungry, and eager to learn—and you’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves
