Staff Accountant

The Opportunity
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Lviv, Ukraine. In this role, you will support our US-based finance team with day-to-day accounting activities, monthly reporting, and ongoing process improvements. Office hours and location
- Full-time, Monday to Friday
- Location: Lviv, Ukraine — Onsite

Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the month-end close process, including journal entry preparation and reconciliations
- Assist with monthly account reconciliations
- Help with commission tracking and reporting
- Prepare schedules and documentation for audits and internal reporting
- Collaborate with the US finance team on accounts payable, payroll support, and general ledger tasks
- Participate in system implementation support (e.g., billing platform)
- Assist with maintaining compliance with internal controls
- Contribute to special projects and assist in improving accounting processes

Required Experience and Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1−2 years of experience in accounting or finance (internships included)
- Strong knowledge of accounting fundamentals
- Experience with US GAAP is a plus
- Prior work with international teams or in a multinational environment is a plus
- Skills and Knowledge
- Good Excel skills — comfortable with formulas, formatting, and data analysis
- Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Clear written and verbal communication in English (required)
- Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, international environment
