Job Title: Mid-Level WordPress Developer — Full-Time

About Us: Media Components is a results-driven digital marketing agency specializing in web development, digital marketing, and online brand growth. We are expanding our development team and looking for a skilled Mid-Level WordPress Developer to support a variety of client projects.
Position Summary: You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and updating WordPress websites for a wide range of clients. Working closely with our Web Department Director and Project Managers, you will deliver high-quality, responsive websites in a remote, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
- Implement responsive, mobile-friendly design principles.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website bugs, performance, and UX issues.
- Perform pre-launch QA testing across browsers, devices, and resolutions.
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers.
- Handle site migrations, domain settings, and basic server-side troubleshooting.
- Write clean, efficient, and scalable code.
- Stay up-to-date on WordPress updates, tools, and trends.

Requirements:
- 2−3 years of proven experience as a WordPress Developer.
- Strong knowledge of WordPress core, plugins, themes, and WooCommerce.
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and basic PHP.
- Experience with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, etc.).
- Familiarity with Git or similar version control systems (preferred).
- Good written communication skills in English.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a digital agency environment.
- Understanding of SEO principles for development.
