Requirements:
- Minimum 1−2 years of experience in healthcare setting
- Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance plans
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with team members

Work conditions:
- Full time Monday through Friday (9AM-5PM EST)
- Professional and patient-centered attitude

Responsibilities:
- Receive and review new patient referrals
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
- Collect and input patient demographics and intake data into EMR systems
- Communicate with patients, family members, case managers, and referral sources to complete necessary intake documentation
- Maintain accurate records and follow up on outstanding information as needed
- Comply with HIPAA and all confidentiality regulations
