We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer who has expertise in the electronic systems and software of Kenworth, Freightliner, Mack, and Peterbilt trucks.
The main task is the development, adaptation, and configuration of ECU software (engine, brakes, sensors, emission and safety systems).
Responsibilities
Work with ECUs: diagnostics, flashing, updating, calibration.
- Support and configure engine control, braking, sensor, and SCR/DEF systems.
- Work with protocols CAN, J1939, UDS/KWP2000.
- Use specialized software (e.g., Cummins INSITE, Detroit Diesel DiagnosticLink, Paccar ESA, Bendix ACom, and other OEM tools).
- Analyze errors and troubleshoot at the software level.
- Collaborate with mechanics and service engineers.

Requirements
Experience with diagnostic and service software for Kenworth, Freightliner, Mack, Peterbilt trucks.
- Knowledge of CAN/J1939/UDS protocols, hands-on experience with ECUs.
- Proficiency in C/C++ or other languages for developing/adapting embedded software.
- Experience in parameter calibration (horsepower, torque, tuning).
- Experience with dealer tools (INSITE, ESA, DiagnosticLink, etc.) is a strong plus.
- English — sufficient to read and understand technical documentation.
- We can speak English, Russian, and Ukrainian.
