KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, ensuring they meet client requirements and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with management and cross-functional teams to gather and implement project requirements.
- Collaborate with Design/UX teams to implement responsive and UX-friendly designs.
- Optimize website performance, security, and SEO best practices.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in existing WordPress installations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress and web development best practices.
- Assist in establishing a consistent development process that results in quick turnaround time and repeatability.
- Assist in creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures and Documentation in relation to development and best practices.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

5+ years of professional experience in WordPress development
- Proficiency in frontend technologies: HTML5, CSS3 (including SASS/SCSS preprocessors and TailwindCSS framework)
- Solid JavaScript skills, with hands-on experience in jQuery and AlpineJS for dynamic interactions
- Proven expertise in Advanced Custom Fields PRO for creating flexible content structures
- Strong experience with form plugins, including Contact Form 7 and WPForms
- Advanced knowledge of PHP for custom theme development
- Strong proficiency with Git and GitHub for version control, branching, and collaborative development
- Experience contributing to the architecture and design of new and current WordPress themes
- Experience writing clean, maintainable, and extensible code
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in written and verbal English (B2+)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years of professional experience in WordPress plugin development
- 2+ years of professional experience in Elementor development and maintenance
- Familiarity with build tools such as Gulp, Webpack, or Vite
- Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and cross-browser compatibility
- Prior experience working in a remote agency environment
