We’re looking for a motivated Junior Administrator Business Central to join our team, support users, and grow their expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. This role is perfect for someone eager to learn, take on new challenges, and deepen their skills in ERP administration.
Responsibilities
- Provide Business Central user support, assisting with errors, access requests, or basic functional questions.
- Create, configure, and maintain user accounts, security roles, and permission sets.
- Manage access control for sandbox, test, and production environments, ensuring compliance with security policies.
- Set up basic system parameters, maintain directories, journals, and job queue schedules.
- Support environment updates in coordination with developers and verify system functionality after upgrades.
- Monitor environment status: review event logs, error messages, and system performance.
- Assist in integration setup (OData, API) together with developers, following standard templates.
- Document internal procedures, user guides, and environment changes.
- Participate in testing basic system changes: forms, reports, and roles.
- Collaborate with internal support teams, analysts, and developers for escalation of more complex technical issues.
Job requirements
- 1+ years of experience inERP/Business Central administration.
- English proficiency — Intermediate level or higher.
- Understanding the role of an ERP administrator and experience working with the BC interface.
- Knowledge of typical tasks: creating/editing users, assigning roles/permission sets, supporting Job Queue.
- Experience handling basic requests: access issues, data display problems, working with directories.
- Ability to provide clear answers, log requests, and escalate complex incidents.
- Basic knowledge of key modules: Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Warehouse.
- Strong navigation skills: searching for objects and analyzing user errors.
- Understanding of sandbox, test, and production environments.
- Experience with access settings, OData URLs, API permissions (based on templates/instructions).
- Ability to check and document user actions; basic understanding of logging.
- Participate in monitoring Job Queue Entries to ensure stable task execution.
- Create and update user guides, instruction templates, and internal procedure documentation.
- Support checklists for updates, access control, and routine tasks.
- Ability to follow instructions precisely, track changes, and adhere to procedures.
- Strong listening skills, ability to identify the root of a problem, and respond quickly to requests.
- Interest in ERP systems, motivation to deepen technical knowledge and take on more complex tasks.
- Ability to work closely with developers, analysts, and accountants.
- Openness to new work formats and changing priorities.
- Understanding of system functionality and cause-effect links between settings, processes, and results.
Would be a plus
- Basic understanding of integrations and data exchange — working with OData/API templates, importing/exporting data.
- Experience with DevOps processes at the release support level — environment checks after updates, communication with developers.
- Basic knowledge of SQL — ability to read simple queries/OData for data checks (can be taught after onboarding).
