We are seeking an MSSQL Developer to join our international team and support the ongoing development and optimization of a product in the medical/healthcare sector. This role requires close collaboration with U.S.-based colleagues in real-time, ensuring smooth communication and coordination during the U.S. workday. You will play a key role in designing, maintaining, and improving database solutions that power critical healthcare applications.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server.
- Write and optimize complex queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.
- Ensure database performance, security, reliability, and scalability.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to design data models and implement new features.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in production and development environments.
- Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for database development.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of database structures and processes.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL, indexing, query optimization, execution plans).
- Experience with database design, normalization, and performance tuning.
- Understanding of ETL processes and experience with SSIS/SSRS is a plus.
- Familiarity with C#/.NET or other programming languages for database integration.
- Knowledge of version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively.
- Daily collaboration with American colleagues (developers, QA engineers, product managers) to align on priorities and deliverables.
Work Conditions:
- Ability to work 15:00−00:00 Kyiv time to overlap with the U.S. workday.
- Good understanding of version control systems (Git) and agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
- English: Intermediate or higher — must be able to actively participate in daily meetings, communicate with U.S. colleagues, and write documentation.
