International Legal Analyst / Contracts Specialist (Remote — Non-U.S. Licensed)
Role Summary
U.S.-based company seeks an internationally trained legal professional to perform legal operations and contract support remotely. This role works under the supervision of a U.S.-licensed attorney and does not provide independent U.S. legal advice.

What You’ll Do
Contract Drafting & Redlining: Prepare first-pass drafts from approved templates (NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, DPAs/SaaS terms); maintain clause library and fallback matrices.
Issue Spotting & Escalation: Summarize risks, propose options with business impact, and escalate material items to U.S. counsel.
Playbooks & Templates: Update negotiation playbooks based on resolved positions; create internal FAQs and quick guides for Sales/Procurement/CS.
Compliance Ops: Complete vendor diligence questionnaires, records of processing (RoPA), DPIA checklists, incident logs, and policy version control.
Governance Support: Maintain entity records, board packet materials, signature files, and policy attestations; assist with cap-table artifacts with Finance.
Matter Tracking: Log demand letters/subpoenas, send/track legal holds, coordinate outside counsel, and monitor budgets/status.
Knowledge & Reporting: Own dashboards for cycle times, SLA adherence, redline patterns, and recurring blocker analysis.

Qualifications
Education: LLB/LLM or equivalent foreign law degree.
Experience: 3−7+ years in commercial contracts, corporate advisory, or privacy/compliance in your jurisdiction; cross-border/SaaS experience a plus.
Skills: Precision drafting and redlining, crisp risk memos, excellent organization and document control, stakeholder-friendly communication.
Tools: CLM/e-signature (e.g., DocuSign/Ironclad), contract/matter trackers, SharePoint/Google Drive, Jira, and Slack/Teams.
Language: Strong professional English; additional languages welcome.
Nice to Have: IAPP certs (CIPP/E or exposure to CIPP/US), ISO 27001/SOC 2 familiarity, fintech/healthcare/regulatory experience, eDiscovery or due diligence background.
