Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the financial strategy to support company growth.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Oversee accounting and tax reporting (Canada, USA).
- Build and improve financial processes and policies.
- Analyze KPIs, P&L, and cash flow; prepare regular financial reports for the executive team.
- Manage risks and ensure the company’s financial stability.
- Collaborate with the CEO, CCO, Head of Sales, and other executives to align business goals.
- Identify opportunities to optimize costs and improve efficiency.
- Ensure proper financial management of a subscription-based SaaS/CRM system, including recurring payments and revenue recognition.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as CFO / Head of Finance / Finance Director in SaaS, IT, or technology companies.
- Previous experience in B2B SaaS is a mandatory requirement.
- Solid expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian and U.S. financial systems, taxation, and regulations.
- Experience in managing subscription-based revenue models (recurring payments, MRR, ARR, churn analysis).
- Experience in raising investments (venture capital, private equity) will be a strong advantage.
- Higher education in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or an MBA.
- Fluent English (B2+), with strong presentation and negotiation skills.
- Analytical mindset, strategic thinking, and attention to detail.
