Freelance Business Analyst (Remote, Project-Based)
About the Role RoomReview is expanding its network of experienced professionals to support business analysis and research projects for companies across various industries, including startups, real estate, architecture, and SMEs. Projects vary in size and duration (from one-week audits to longer strategy and development plans). All work is remote, part-time, and project-based, with agreed scope, hours, and payment before each assignment begins.
Key Responsibilities
Analyse company operations, workflows, tools, and marketing activity.
Conduct market and competitor research across multiple sectors.
Identify weak points, inefficiencies, and growth opportunities.
Prepare structured reports and actionable recommendations for management and strategy teams.
Support the development of business or project plans and help define key KPIs.
Summarise research findings clearly in written English for internal reports.
Collaborate with project managers and other specialists during each project phase.
Requirements
Strong written English (must be able to read and produce clear analytical reports).
Experience with UK or international markets (beyond Ukrainian projects).
Ability to work with diverse industries and quickly understand new business models.
Proven experience in data analysis, business research, or process optimisation.
Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, Notion, or similar analytical tools.
Reliable communication and adherence to deadlines.
Nice to Have
Experience preparing business or financial plans for startups or SMEs.
Understanding of marketing and performance metrics.
Familiarity with CRM systems or automation tools.
