We are a passionate and inspiring development team with offices in Denmark and Latvia, and we are looking for a dedicated Full-Stack senior developer to join our skilled team.
This is a full-time, fully remote role, offering you the opportunity to collaborate with a group of developers with many years of experience in developing software.
Our team meets every morning at 09:00 AM CET for a stand-up, where we share updates and the plan for our day. We are a tightly connected team, with many of us having worked together for many years — it is really like a second family.

Strong English communication skills (both spoken and written) are essential.
These are the key skills and qualities we are looking for in our candidate: Backend
? Minimum 8 years of commercial experience with WordPress.
? Proficiency in creating custom themes and plugins from scratch.
? Ability to develop advanced features without relying on third-party plugins.
? Very good knowledge of wp_query/meta_query.
? Expert knowledge of PHP, MySQL, and object-oriented approaches.
? Very good knowledge of WooCommerce.
? Experience in utilizing WordPress and WooCommerce hooks.
? Good knowledge of ACF and WPML.
? Experience with WordPress Multisite setups.
? Experience with API integrations.
? Knowledge of caching mechanisms.
? Good understanding of cookies & sessions.
? Knowledge of data sanitization, escaping and validation practices.
? Adherence to WordPress Coding Standards (PHPCS).
Front-end
? Very good knowledge of JavaScript (AJAX, Promises, Async / Await) and object-oriented approaches.
? Very good knowledge of HTML, and CSS (SCSS) — with a focus on producing semantic and maintainable code.
? Independence from frameworks as Boostrap or Tailwind.
? Ability to produce code up to the pixel-perfect standard from designs.
? Understanding of cookies, sessionStorage and localStorage.
? Has basic understanding of Web Accessibility.
? Keen aesthetic sense and attention to detail.
? Experience with implementing in-between-page transitions, animations and UI micro-interactions.
? Nice to have:
? Knowledge of Swiper / GSAP / BarbaJS.
? Knowledge of Figma.
? Experience in Vue

? Knowledge with module bundles such as Vite or Webpack.

Our recruitment process:
Our recruitment process begins with a screening meeting, where we assess whether there is a mutual fit for the position. Should we determine that there is, you will be invited to complete a test assignment. Upon reviewing your submission, if your technical skills meet the level we are looking for, we will invite you to a co-coding session. The co-coding session will be a collaborative session where we work through a frontend task together, giving us a chance to see how you approach problem-solving in real time and giving you a feel for how we work at Webnorth. For the co-coding session, we will send you a Vite.js project template right before the meeting. Please make sure your node version is up to date (we tested with 20+). The session will take up to one hour. Upon acceptance, we would like to invite you to a meeting to meet the management of the Webnorth Team. Note: Please submit your resume in English.
