Freight Broker — Remote Position
We are a growing U.S.-based logistics company specializing in reliable ground transportation and high-quality customer service. We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and results-oriented Freight Broker to join our team remotely.
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate and organize freight transportation between customers and carriers.
- Manage and expand your existing book of business while building new client relationships.
- Communicate with customers and transportation providers to ensure excellent service and on-time delivery.
- Monitor shipment progress, resolve issues promptly, and keep all parties informed throughout the process.
- Negotiate rates and secure advantageous terms while protecting strong profit margins.
- Analyze market conditions and offer competitive transportation solutions.
- Develop and maintain long-term partnerships with customers and carriers.
- Identify opportunities to grow freight volume, revenue, and overall profitability.
What We’re Looking For
- An existing and transferable book of business is required.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Freight Broker or in a similar freight sales/logistics role.
- Proven track record of managing customer accounts and generating freight revenue.
- Strong communication, sales, and negotiation abilities.
- Results-driven attitude with the ability to spot opportunities and close deals.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- English language proficiency preferred.
