We are currently seeking a Sales Manager (International Freight Forwarding) with expertise in ocean and air freight transportation.
Our client is a major European logistics operator providing a full range of logistics services, including international air, ocean, and road freight transportation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and manage sales of international freight forwarding services (import/export);
- Maintain correspondence with clients and business partners, including international counterparts;
- Prepare freight quotations, pricing calculations, and tender proposals;
- Monitor clients' accounts receivable and accounts payable;
- Resolve client-related issues and conflicts effectively.
REQUIREMENTS:
- University degree;
- Minimum 2 years of experience in international freight forwarding sales;
- Strong knowledge of international transportation processes and logistics operations;
- Solid understanding of foreign trade activities, bills of lading, international logistics regulations, and supply chain processes;
- Knowledge of Incoterms 2020 and experience working with 1C ERP software;
- Experience in preparing and managing tender documentation;
- Strong negotiation and objection-handling skills, resilience under pressure;
- High level of professionalism, sound decision-making abilities, and business ethics;
- Proven track record of managing clients and projects throughout the entire cooperation lifecycle;
- Result-oriented mindset, proactive attitude, ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Upper-intermediate or higher spoken English proficiency.
